MGRID Workshop on Grid Computing

You are cordially invited to attend the following event:

The Michigan Grid Research and Infrastructure Development (MGRID) ( is conducting a Grid Computing Workshop on Thursday, February 24, 2005, 8am-4pm in East Room of Pierpont Commons (North Campus). There will be several talks on applications that can take advantage of grid computing frameworks such as MGRID, how to setup and use grids, grid components such as security, authentication, authorization, scheduling etc. Several presenters will use the MGRID platform for demonstration of real applications running in a grid environment.

The workshop is free. However, space is limited. You are encouraged to register early. Free lunch will be provided.
